We’re working hard to prepare for the upcoming 10th Annual Snohomish Wedding Tour on June 3.
As we change some things up on site (we can’t wait for you to see it all!!), it got us thinking about how brides and grooms – and their entourages – can get themselves ready to have an amazing wedding tour experience. We came up with the 3 things we consider must-haves before you start your Wedding Tour adventure for the day.
1. SPENDING PLAN.
It’s always a good start to have at least an idea for your spending plan or budget. We know that this can be overwhelming as it’s sometimes hard to know just how much to plan on spending, but a lot of vendors have indications of their pricing online, and that can be a great start. If you really aren’t sure, we recommend checking out Cost of Wedding – but just know that those numbers aren’t always accurate, and usually end up a little low for most of our area vendors.
2. YOUR STYLE.
Knowing your important details like approximate guest count, the themes or style you’re drawn to, your colors, all of these can be important things to know before you attend a wedding tour. Yes, you’re going to get ideas and maybe even refine your vision, but if you go in having no idea of what you do – and don’t – want, then you’re going to get overwhelmed, and fast. 3. YOUR TOP 3.
If you can see a list of the venues and vendors participating in the wedding tour (and you will for the Snohomish Wedding Tour if you register to attend!), take some time and narrow down the Top 3: Top 3 vendor categories you’re really looking for, and then the Top 3 vendors in that category that you want to make sure you stop by and check out in person. Prioritize your Wedding Tour day with those Top 3 in mind, and you’ll have a successful experience.
